Who is Ron Stephens?
Ron Stephens is a former Republican member of the Illinois House of Representatives, representing the 102nd district from from 1985 to 1991, and from 1993 until 2011 when he announced his retirement. The district includes portions of Bond County, Madison County, Effingham County, Fayette County and St. Clair County. He was the Assistant Republican Leader in the state House until his retirement.
He and his wife Lisa have nine children between them and live in Greenville. Stephens is a licensed pharmacist and co-owns two pharmacies.
