He won an Academy Award for Best Actor for A Double Life, and received further nominations for Random Harvest and Bulldog Drummond/Condemned. Colman starred in the classic films A Tale of Two Cities, Lost Horizon, The Prisoner of Zenda and The Talk of the Town.
