Who is Ronnie Floyd?

Ronnie Wayne Floyd has served since 1986 as Senior Pastor of Cross Church in Springdale in northwestern Arkansas, USA. On June 11, 2014, upon close of the Southern Baptist Convention's annual meeting, Dr. Floyd became its 60th president. Under Floyd’s leadership Cross Church has grown to a five-campus ministry that reaches thousands weekly. Additionally, Floyd’s blog, podcast, and television ministries reach around the globe. A prolific author and Southern Baptist leader, Floyd is also the Founder of the Cross Church School of Ministry, a one-year residential ministry experience that prepares leaders for life, ministry, and global Gospel advancement. Floyd is the founder and host of the Summit, a weekly lunch seminar for Northwest Arkansas businesspersons which hosts guest speakers from across the country.
