Who is Ross Ihaka?
Ross Ihaka is an Associate Professor of Statistics at the University of Auckland, who is recognized, along with Robert Gentleman, as one of the originators of the R programming language. He received the Royal Society of New Zealand's Pickering Medal in 2008 for his work on R.
