Who is Ruth Chambers?

Ruth Chambers is an artist working out of Regina, Saskatchewan. As an installation artist, she works with a wide range of media. Her artworks have incorporated everything from unfired clay and found objects to the latest in audio-visual media. Chambers’ work has also explored a vast array of thematic elements. Some of her sculptures have depicted inner elements of the human body, depicted in such a way that they force questions about the relationship between the physical and the metaphysical. Other works by Chambers combine elements of classical design with fragile natural imagery, such as fluttering oak leaves.
