Who was Sabri Hamadé?
Sabri Hamade served as a pioneer in the Lebanese Independence. He worked with the government at that time, including Riad El Solh, the prime minister, and Bshara El Khoury, the president. Sabri also signed the first official Lebanese flag, which unlike the previous one, only consisted of a cedar with red bands above of it and below it. Sabri Hamadé served as Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament for five terms:
