Who is Saifuddin Choudhury?
Saifuddin Choudhury is a former CPI leader and a former MP from West Bengal state of India. His membership of the party was not renewed. He is the Chairman of Party of Democratic Socialism.
He was elected to the Lok Sabha on a CPI ticket from Katwa in 1980, 1984, 1989 and 1991. He fared very badly in the 2009 election from Jadavpur.
