Who is Sami Kapanen?
Sami Hannu Antero Kapanen is a Finnish former professional ice hockey player who played in the National Hockey League and the Finnish Liiga. He played 12 NHL seasons for the Hartford Whalers, Carolina Hurricanes and Philadelphia Flyers. He is the majority owner and general manager of KalPa. Kapanen's son, Kasperi Kapanen, was drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.
