Who is Shahriar Rabii?

Dr. Rabii co-founded Arda Technologies in October 2006 and serves as the company's CEO. Dr. Rabii has 22 years of experience in design, research, manufacturing, and marketing of electronics. Most recently, he was a founder of Aeluros (now part of NetLogic), a leading provider of 10Gb/s Ethernet transceivers for fiber optic communications where he had responsibility for engineering and business development on multiple products. Before co-founding Aeluros, he led the group at Atheros Communications (NASDAQ:ATHR) that developed and introduced 5GHz CMOS front-end wireless LAN chips into manufacturing. In his previous position at Level One Communications (now part of Intel), he led the design of a CMOS voiceband codec that was integrated with a large DSP. He was also a member of the Level One RF CMOS team whose cordless phone chip sets dominated the 900MHz and 2.4GHz spread spectrum markets. Dr. Rabii holds a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University for his work on low-power, high-resolution CMOS sigma-delta A/D converter design for digital audio. He has co-authored 9 peer review publications and a book on low-power sigma-delta A/D conversion. He was a visiting lecturer at Stanford University from 1999 to 2001 and holds 8 patents.
