She was born Silvio Cássio Bernardo on 10 July 1967 in the city of São Paulo, and quickly gained popularity among the public as well as other performers for her unique and very sharp sense of humor. Silvetty has also released a 14 track album named 'Coisa boa pra voce'.
She has toured the whole of Brazil and abroad.
