Stanley "Stan" G. Owen is a Welsh rugby union and professional rugby league footballer of the 1950s and '60s, playing club level rugby union for Pontypridd RFC, and playing representative level rugby league for Great Britain, Wales, and English League XIII, and at club level for Leigh, St. Helens, and Rochdale Hornets as a Prop, i.e. number 8 or 10, during the era of contested scrums.
