Who is Steve Friess?

Steve Friess is an American freelance journalist, blogger, and podcaster based in Las Vegas whose work appears regularly in the Politico Pro, New York Times, USA Today, Newsweek, the Los Angeles Times, Wired.com, The Daily Beast, and others.

He was among the first U.S. journalists to profile future NBA basketball star Yao Ming.

Friess is co-host of two podcasts, the weekly celebrity-interview podcast “The Strip” and the twice-weekly animal-affairs program, “The Petcast.” He was named Vegas Person of the Year in 2007 by VegasTripping.Com.
