Who is Steve Thomlinson?

Steve Thomlinson is a Level 3 Cricket Coach accredited with Cricket Australia. He was appointed Sportsmaster of Barker College formally on 21 July 2008 and will continue in his role as Director of Cricket at Barker College, one of Australia's leading cricket schools. He is the great nephew of Tasmanian cricketer Arthur Thomlinson, and son of legendary Balmain cricketer Col "Chucker" Thomlinson.

He has coached a number of Under 19 NSW teams, and until July 2008 was engaged as the specialist Batting Coach for the NSW Emerging Blues. He is also coach of the NSW Under 19 Schoolboys and Combined Associated Schools representative teams. He was also First Grade fielding coach at the Gordon Cricket Club. He has also been appointed as Coach on a number of overseas tours, 1997,1999, 2002, 2004,2009 and 2014 to South Africa, 1999 to England and 1999 to New Zealand, 2007 and 2011 to Barbados/Antigua and USA. As a player he played the majority of his 1st Grade career with the Balmain and Sydney Cricket Clubs with a highest score of 178 not out. He also played three minor fixtures for New South Wales making a highest score of 49 at the SCG.
