Who was Tadhgo Crowley?
Tadhgo Crowley was an Irish Gaelic footballer who played as a centre-back for the Cork senior team.
Crowley made his first appearance for the team during the 1943 championship and was a regular member of the starting fifteen for the rest of the decade. During that time he won one All-Ireland medal and three Munster medals. In 1945 Crowley captained the team to the All-Ireland title.
Crowley also enjoyed a successful club career with Clonakilty, winning seven county championship medals.
