Who is Tatjana Hüfner?
Tatjana Hüfner is a German luger who has competed since 2003. She won the bronze medal in the women's singles at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin and the gold medal at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. Hüfner won four gold medals at the FIL World Luge Championships, winning three in the women's singles event and two in the mixed team event.
She also won two silvers in the women's singles event at the FIL European Luge Championships.
Hüfner won the overall Luge World Cup title in women's singles three times.
On February 2, 2008, she became the first woman to win five straight FIL Luge World Cup events with her victory at the bobsleigh, luge, and skeleton track in Altenberg, Germany.
