Who is Tavares Bowens?
Tavares Bowens is the head coach and defensive co-ordinator of the Florence Phantoms. He previously worked as a full-back coach. During the 2008 American Indoor Football Association season, Bowens led the Florence Phantoms to the association championship. The team won over the Wyoming Cavalry. His best friend Robert Honey was on the championship team in 2008 also. Robert Honey was the special team coach, and the offensive, and defensive line coach. He is now at Newman Catholic High School in Wausau, Wisconsin. He still cheers his gamecocks on. Following the season in August 2008, he resigned.
