Who was Thomas Morahan?
Thomas P. Morahan was a member of the New York State Senate, for the 38th district covering all of Rockland County and parts of Orange County, New York. He was first elected in a special election in 1999.
Morahan, after winning the November 4th elections, was serving his sixth term at the time of his death in 2010, though he had announced his retirement at the end of the term due to age and leukemia.
