Who is Tim Cook?
Tim Cook is a Canadian military historian and author. Cook is currently the director of research at the Canadian War Museum and a research professor at Carleton University, he has also published several books about the military history of Canada during World War I.
His 2008 book Shock Troops: Canadians Fighting the Great War 1917-1918 won the 2009 Charles Taylor Prize, and his 2012 book Warlords: Borden, Mackenzie King, and Canada’s World Wars was a nominee for the same award in 2013.
