Who is Tim Kaine?
Timothy Michael "Tim" Kaine is the junior United States Senator from the Commonwealth of Virginia. He won office in the United States Senate election in Virginia, 2012 and took office in 2013. A member of the Democratic Party, he served as the 51st Chairperson of the Democratic National Committee from 2009 to 2011, as the 70th Governor of Virginia from 2006 to 2010, and mayor of Richmond, Virginia from 1998 to 2001.
