Who is Timothy F. Murphy?

Timothy "Tim" F. Murphy is the U.S. Representative for Pennsylvania's 18th congressional district, serving since 2003. He is a member of the Republican Party. He previously served in the Pennsylvania Senate.

The district includes several suburbs south of Pittsburgh. It includes parts of Allegheny, Washington, Beaver and Westmoreland counties. He won re-election in 2012 with 63.8% of the vote.
