Who is Ulrich Hegge?

Ulrich Hegge is the co-founder and managing director for products of wunderloop. The Internet has figured large in Ulrich Hegge’s professional career

(born 1966). While studying law at Münster he initiated the "DaWIN"

Internet pilot project way back in 1991 (funded by the federal

government and North Rhine-Westphalia state) and founded with others

"UpToDate", a computer trade magazine.On completion of his studies, he

worked from 1994 at regional newspaper "Schweriner Zeitung" (published

by Burda-Verlag), and from fall 1995 for Gruner+Jahr (G+J) with

co-responsibility for developing the publisher’s online activities. In

1997 he was appointed to the board of management of G+J Electronic

Media Services GmbH as coordinator of content management for all G+J

websites. He has worked for and in a number of national and

international associations and working groups. Ulrich Hegge has spoken

at more than 35 national and international conferences. As Managing

Partner of e-dict GmbH Co. KG, Hamburg, from 1998 he built up the

technology company which developed security-relevant e-commerce

applications in entertainment. From mid-1999, in parallel to his duties

at e-dict, Hegge initialized the business activities of wunderloop

(under the name "7d").He co-founded and has worked in the management of

wunderloop since September 1999 (formerly "7d").
