Who was Valentin Muratov?
Valentin Ivanovich Muratov was a Russian gymnast, Olympic champion and world champion who competed for the Soviet Union. He competed at the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki where he received a gold medal in team combined exercises.
He competed at the 1956 Summer Olympics in Melbourne where he received gold medals in floor exercises, long horse vault and team combined exercises, as well as a silver medal in rings.
