Who was Valentine Efner?
Valentine Efner was a U.S. Representative from New York.
Born in Blenheim Hill, near Blenheim, New York, Efner completed preparatory studies. He engaged in agricultural pursuits. Commissioned as major in the War of 1812. He served as member of the State assembly in 1829.
Efner was elected as a Jacksonian to the Twenty-fourth Congress. He resumed agricultural pursuits. He died in Blenheim Hill, New York, November 20, 1865. He was interred in Blenheim Hill Cemetery.
