Who is Valery Nazarov?
Valery Lvovich Nazarov is a Russian official and politician.
From October 12, 1999, to November 10, 2003, Nazarov was the Chairman of the City Property Management Committee of the Saint Petersburg City Administration. From June 29, 2000, to November 10, 2003, he was also a vice governor of Saint Petersburg.
From January 11, – March 12, 2004, he was Chief of the Control Directorate of the Russian presidential administration appointed by President Vladimir Putin.
From March 12, 2004 until May 2008, he was the Head of the Russian Federal Agency for Federal Property Management. He had four deputies. Two of them, Lyudmila Pridanova and Sergey Sysoev, were his deputies also when Nazarov served as the Chairman of the Saint Petersburg City Property Management Committee. He was replaced by Yury Petrov in May 2008.
Since June 29, 2004, he has been a member of the board of directors of Russian Railways.
