Veronica Guardado is the Council Member of Maywood, California.
Veronica Guardado was elected to the Maywood City Council in November 2007 and served as Mayor in 2009. Guardado was the subject of a recall election on December 9, 2008 along with fellow council members Ana Rosa and Felipe Aguirre. The recall was unsuccessful and the voters passed the ethics measure brought forth by Council Member Guardado.
November 2011, Veronica Guardado was reelected to a second term with the highest votes.Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder She has been involved in the collaboration with California State University of Fullerton in the annual Education Fair. The focus is to create a college culture in Maywood.City of Maywood
