Who is Vince Sorrenti?

Vince Sorrenti is one of Australia’s best known and leading comic entertainers, a respected and successful Australian stand-up comedian from Punchbowl, New South Wales. He is of Italian heritage. Sorrenti performs at many functions and events, such as the AFL Grand Final Breakfast. He writes an opinion piece for The Daily Telegraph, and in 2004 appeared on A Current Affair with his comedy antics.

Whilst studying Architecture at Sydney University, he played rugby union and became a keen advocate of student causes. During this time, on annual retreats to Don Hearn's Health Cabins at Manyana on the New South Wales south coast, his eclectic style of stand-up comedy was born. His 'unbelievable' catch-phrase, the product of firm friendships within the Australian Customs Service, evolved during these sabbaticals.

Sorrenti is currently a comic entertainer who performs for a variety of private and public events. He also serves as the "face" for television and print marketing for an Australian property web site, Tyreright, MailPost Australia, and Uncle Tobys Oat Brits.

Vince Sorrenti is a three-time winner of the Mo Award, presented as recognition of excellence in live performance.
