Who was Sandy Nava?
Vincent Irwin "Sandy" Nava was an American 19th century Major League Baseball player for five seasons from 1882 through 1886. Nava was the first known Mexican American and second Hispanic baseball player to play in the Majors, behind Steve Bellán.
