Who was Vladimir Vranić?
Vladimir Vranić was a Croatian mathematician. He was one of the most renowned professor at the University of Zagreb. His quantity of his scientific works are very large. His most important work, however, is in probability and statistics. Vranić was Jewish. During World War II, Vranić was granted with the permison for freedom of residence and work by the "Directorate of the Ustaše Police" for Jewish section.
