Who was W. H. Clatworthy?
Willard H. Clatworthy, was a professor emeritus from University at Buffalo and a World War II veteran from Williamsville, New York. He is known for his work in BIBD designs and combinatorial mathematics. Clatworthy received his Ph.D. in the year 1952 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill under the direction of R. C. Bose; Clatworthy authored papers with S. S. Shrikhande, and J. M. Cameron on BIBD designs.
