Who is Walter Rafelsberger?

Walter Rafelsberger is a researcher at MODUL Unversity Vienna,

Department of New Media Technology. After passing his studies with

distinction at Salzburg University of Applied Sciences (MultiMediaArt),

he worked for director Virgil Widrich as visual effects supervisor on the animated short "Fast Film". He has six years of working experience

as self-employed artist, producer and consultant for media related

productions and gathered a broad range of experience in the fields of

visual effects and motion graphics, web development and content

management, as well as information visualization and interface design.

With "sirup.tv" he was nominated for Austria's Prix Multimedia

Innovation Award. His main research interest is computational

information design in the context of knowledge and collaboration

management.
