Who is William Matheus?
William Matheus da Silva, or simply William Matheus, is a Brazilian footballer who plays as left back and centre back. He currently plays for Palmeiras.
He played 22 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A games in 2008 season.
William Matheus then left for Botafogo and Tombense. In June 2011 he signed a 3-year contract with Boca Júnior and loaned to Bahia in the same month. He played in 2011 Copa Governador do Estado da Bahia. He was the member of Bahia under-23 team that season.
On February 2, William Matheus signed with Palmeiras to play the 2014 season, the year of the centenary of the club.
