Who is Yasser Latif Hamdani?

Yasser Latif Hamdani is a lawyer and writer based in Lahore, Pakistan. He has authored the book "Jinnah; Myth and Reality" which argues that Jinnah, the founding father of Pakistan, was using the demand for Pakistan as a bargaining counter. He also argues that Jinnah wanted a separation of church and state. He has been writing prolifically for Daily Times Pakistan He also writes for The Friday Times and Express Tribune

As a lawyer, Yasser Latif Hamdani has argued several public interest litigations before the Lahore High Court, including the Bhagat Singh case and the YouTube case where he is arguing for unblocking of the website. He is also the counsel for Bytes for All in their Petition 11786/2013 in Lahore High Court against the FinFisher command and control server located on Pakistan Telecommunications Company Limited.
