Who is Yoichi Miyazawa?
Yoichi Miyazawa is a Japanese politician of the Liberal Democratic Party, a member of the House of Representatives in the Diet. A native of Fukuyama, Hiroshima and graduate of the University of Tokyo, he joined the Ministry of Finance in 1974, receiving a MPA from Harvard University in the United States while in the ministry. Leaving the ministry in 1993, he was elected to the House of Representatives for the first time in 2000.
