Who is Yung L.A.?

Leland Austin, better known by his stage name Yung L.A., is an American hip hop recording artist from Atlanta, Georgia. His debut single "Ain't I", peaked at #47 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart and hit #7 on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. He released his second single "Futuristic Love", featuring American singer Ricco Barrino, in 2009. Throughout this, L.A. was signed to American rapper and record executive T.I.'s Grand Hustle Records, after fellow Atlanta-based rapper Young Dro, found and brought L.A. to the label. In early 2011 however, Yung L.A. parted ways with Grand Hustle.

Soon after his departure from Grand Hustle Records, Yung L.A. began to claim he was a member of the local Atlanta record label Duct Tape Entertainment fold. Although he was not officially signed to the imprint, he then got the record label's logo/mascot tattooed on his face. This was much to the displeasure and dismay of Duct Tape Ent. CEO/rapper, Alley Boy. Yung L.A. was later seen on a virial video being set up & beaten by rapper, Alley Boy. Yung L.A. was quoted in the video saying "You ain't ordinairy bruh." before being unexpectedly attacked & viciously assaulted by Alley Boy in the video. As of 2013 Yung L.A. is currently off the entertainment radar & is pretty much shuned & not respected by his former rap cohorts.
