Who was Zako Heskiya?
Zako Heskija, Зако Хеския, also:Zako Heskia or "Sako Cheskija" was a Bulgarian film director and writer.
Heskia became in 1966 international audience for "Gorechto Pladne", the first Bulgarian contribution to the Cannes Film Festival and a nomination for the Palme d'Or. In 1981 he won the spezial prize at the 12th Moscow International Film Festival for Yo Ho Ho.
Zako Heskia works together with the former state Boyana Film Studio in Sofia.
