Who was Zhang Gao?
Zhang Gao, courtesy name Congzhou, formally the Duke of Pingyuan, was an official of the Chinese dynasty Tang Dynasty, serving as a chancellor during the reign of Emperor Suzong. He was known for his blunt suggestions, which eventually led to his removal as chancellor.
