An English Imagist poet who in 2009,labelled a trochiac monometer and promoted the form on the internet thereafter as the Footle *couplet form. A footle is a 2 lines,2 syllable verse. .A Light verse form, witty, pertinent, topical etc with an integral title.

(*technically a trochaic monometer,was derived from the anonymous verse FLEAS Adam/ad'em).Strand in addition to writing and promoting short imagist forms,writes longer open form poetry and recites much thereof as YouTube clips under the pen name ichthyschiro.
