Who is Henrik, Prince Consort of Denmark?
Henrik, Prince Consort of Denmark, is the husband of Queen Margrethe II of Denmark. Henrik married Princess Margrethe at the Naval Church of Copenhagen on 10 June 1967. The couple have two sons; Crown Prince Frederik and Prince Joachim. Henrik became Prince Consort when his wife succeeded her father, King Frederick IX, to the throne on 14 January 1972.
