Who is Joseph O'Neill?

Joseph O'Neill is an English composer of music, specialising in choral, keyboard instrument and chamber ensemble works.

He was born in Hendon, North London and began his musical education in Buckinghamshire. He then moved to Bedfordshire, where he achieved his Grade 8 in piano in 2006, before he began to study Music Composition at Coventry University. He graduated from university in 2009, as a B.A. in Music Composition with Professional Practice. During his time at university, he developed many and various composition styles and techniques, including Baroque, Classical, Romantic, Modern, popular music and Jazz.

Between the years of 2006 to 2009, he sang tenor in St. Michael’s Singers, based at Coventry Cathedral, a choral society which has a number of large- and small-scale performances each year; including radio and television appearances, and was featured on the New Hymnmakers recordings.
