Who is Ashok Singhal?
Ashok Singhal was the International President of the Hindu organisation Vishwa Hindu Parishad for over 20 years until being replaced in December 2011. Succeeded by Raghava Reddy, Singhal had suffered ill-health and had been "immobile for some time".
