He is the founder of Jamiyyathul Mujahideen, Areekode, formed in 1944. Jamiyyathul Mujahideen runs various educational institutions in Areekode, the prominent being Sullamussalam Arabic College, Sullamussalam Science college and Sullamussalam Oriental High School.
