Who was Wladyslaw Dutkiewicz?

Władysław Dutkiewicz was a Polish-born naturalized Australian artist and Polish language playwright, winning multiple awards as a painter. He emigrated to Australia in 1949.

He was a painter, sculptor, actor, stage designer, and theatre director. Two of four brothers were also artists: Jan Dutkiewicz and Ludwik Dutkiewicz. He had five children, three of whom have careers as artists: Michal, Adam & Ursula Dutkiewicz.
