Who is K.C. Malick?
Sri Khirod Chandra Malick, or K.C. Malick, is the founder of Bharat Integrated Social Welfare Agency, one of the biggest Non-governmental organizations of India. As of 2010 he was Chairman. BISWA is deeply involved in the process of grassroots social engineering.
Having served the State Bank of India for 26 years, Malick retired as a senior executive. He holds a Master’s Degree in Economics from Ravenshaw College, Bachelor’s degree in Law, and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. He is a Certified Financial Analyst and a Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers.
Since he founded BISWA in Orissa, as Chairman of BISWA, he has remained committed to socio-economic development. He is a member of organizations at district/state/national levels.
Malick received the Honoris Causa Doctorate Degree by Foreign Policy Research Institute, on 27 December 2010 for his contribution towards " Promotion of Sustainable Community Development For Social Justice".
