Who is Mike Belfiore?
Michael John Belfiore is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Detroit Tigers of Major League Baseball. He previously played for the Baltimore Orioles.
Belfiore attended Boston College where he was a first baseman and a pitcher. After being drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the 2009 Major League Baseball Draft, Belfiore became a full-time pitcher. Belfiore has played professionally with the Missoula Osprey, and the South Bend Silver Hawks. He was a Pioneer Baseball League All-Star in 2009. He stands at 6 feet 2 inches and weighs 220 pounds. Belfiore bats right-handed, while throwing left.
