Who is Daisi Pollard?

Daisi "Jo" Pollard Sepúlveda is a Jamaican Beauty Pageant Winner, International Model, television personality and businesswoman who became a popular person of interest in 2005 when she was crowned Miss Jamaica International. Pollard was the first Jamaican candidate in history to compete in the Miss Earth 2005, Miss Asia Pacific 2005 and Miss Beauty Queen World and the only known candidate to represent three different countries.

Daisi Pollard was most notable for her on stage protest on poor treatment by the pageant organizers at the Miss Asia Pacific 2005. During the pageant's final dress rehearsal, Pollard was escorted off the stage after protesting irregularities and she interrupted the taping by walking across the stage to the microphone and loudly protesting. Daisi was escorted off stage and judges were eventually removed from the rehearsal.
