Who is Ian Walker?
Ian Bradley Walker is an Australian Liberal National politician who is the member of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland for Mansfield, having defeated Phil Reeves at the 2012 Queensland state election. He was appointed Assistant Minister for Planning Reform on 3 April 2012. On 17 February 2013, Premier Campbell Newman appointed Walker as the new Minister for Science, Information Technology, Innovation and the Arts after the resignation of Ros Bates. He was educated at the Anglican Church Grammar School.
