In 2004 Bhatia married Vanisha Mittal, the only daughter and second child of billionaire steel tycoon and Chairman and CEO of ArcelorMittal, Lakshmi Mittal, in a ceremony described as "lavish" and "outrageous" said to have cost as much as $78 million.
