Anupam Hazra, born in 1982 and currently a resident of Shilchar, Assam. Anupam Hazra is a social work educator and development professional from India. A Masters in Social Work from Visva-Bharati University, Anupam Hazra has been associated with the non profit sector since 2005.
Presently he is Assistant Professor in thee Social Work department of Assam University Silchar. He has worked for 3 years in development sector and worked with Water Aid India an international funding organization.He is a freelance consultant to various NGOs in West Bengal, Orissa and Assam, India
Anupam Hazra is an author with over 40 articles in International and National Journals. Some of them are The Ignored Indians in Man and Development Tackling The Global Threat of Climate Change in Journal of Social Welfare, Corruption and Development: Exploring The Dynamics in Social Action, An Analysis of Scarcity in a State of Surplus, Journal of Social Economics in 2010 and many more.
He is a regular author with Kurukshetra, Journal of Rural Development published by Ministry of Rural Development and has published over 1000 articles in 2 years and similarly various other Bi-Annual and Academic Journals. He has participated and presented paper in different International and National Conferences across the country.He is a visiting faculty at different prestigious academic institutions in India.
