Who is Damian Gielty?

Damian Gielty is a Scottish footballer from Midlothian who currently plays for Berwick Rangers.

His most notable football years to date were spent at Newtongrange Star, between 2006 and 2010. During this time he helped the team win promotion from both the South and Premier leagues into the Super League, as well as winning the League Cup in 2009. Gielty's performances for his club were rewarded when he was capped and represented the Scotland junior squad at the 2010 Quadrangular Tournament in Northern Ireland.

Gielty moved to Luxembourg for work commitments in 2010
