Who is Đinh La Thăng?
Đinh La Thăng is a Vietnamese politician who is the Minister of Transport, a post he has been held since 8 August 2011. He was born in 1960 at Yên Bình Commune, Ý Yên District, Nam Định Province. He is a member of 10th and 11th Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam. He is also a member of National Assembly of Vietnam of the XI and XIIIth session. Before becoming the Minister of Transport, he was the Chairman of the Board of Petrovietnam, the national oil and gas company; Deputy Secretary of Provincial Communist Party of Thừa Thiên–Huế Province; Chairman of Song Da Corporation.
Đinh La Thăng graduated from the Academy of Finance in Hanoi.
